ANNUAL RETREAT
GUESTS MAXIMUM
BALI, INDONESIA
12-18 MAY 2027
Each morning begins suspended in silk — your aerial practice is the physical core of the RASA experience. Linda's sessions are designed for all levels and will gently challenge your edge every day.
Six nights at the Bodhi Leaf Wellness Resort in Gianyar — surrounded by rice fields, tended by founder Putu and her team. Private and twin share villa options available.
All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included — sourced from the Bodhi Farm and prepared fresh daily. Dietary requirements catered for. Eating here is part of the experience.
One 60-minute traditional Balinese massage is included for every guest. The body does the physical work — the massage is your permission to fully let it go.
Return airport transfers and all activity transport throughout the retreat are included. You arrive, we handle the rest. No logistics stress — just presence.
Gamelan welcome dinner, Tirta Empul temple, Keliki Village painting, coffee plantation, rice field walk, and a farewell dinner. Bali is not a backdrop here — it is the teacher.
Not included: International flights, travel insurance (required), visa fees, optional activities, and personal expenses. A full inclusions and exclusions list is provided upon reservation.
A sanctuary nestled between rice fields and the rhythms of Balinese daily life.
The Bodhi Leaf is not a hotel — it's a dedicated wellness retreat centre owned and operated by founder Putu, a local Balinese woman whose deep knowledge of the island and its healing traditions shapes every detail of the experience. The yoga shala is purpose-built for aerial practice, the kitchen sources daily from the Bodhi Farm, and the grounds are designed to slow you down the moment you arrive.
Linda has chosen this venue deliberately. Small, intentional, and genuinely connected to Bali — not a resort that happens to offer yoga, but a space built for exactly this kind of retreat.
Bali is not a backdrop for this retreat — it is a teacher. Each experience below is designed to move through the body first, so the mind can follow. This is what RASA → ÉLING looks like in practice.
Your first evening begins with a traditional Balinese Gamelan performance over a shared welcome dinner. The percussive rhythms are felt as much as heard — a full-body arrival into Bali.
One of Bali's most sacred water temples. You will enter the holy spring waters in a traditional Melukat purification ritual — a deeply quiet, reset experience.
A walk through the tiny artist village of Keliki. You'll sit with local painters and try your hand at Balinese miniature art — intricate, meditative, and a study in slowing the hands.
A guided walk through a working Balinese coffee and spice plantation. The senses are fully engaged. This is RASA at its most literal: pure sensation, no distraction.
A slow, guided walk through the terraced rice fields at dawn or dusk. No agenda, no destination. This is where ÉLING tends to arrive quietly for most guests.
Your final evening is a shared table — a space to name what shifted, what you're carrying home, and what you're leaving behind. It is often the most memorable meal of the week.
Everything in the retreat is already full. These are for the curious, the adventurous, or those who simply want more of Bali. All activities are booked and coordinated through Linda.
All prices in AUD and subject to change. Activities are paid directly in Bali — not included in the retreat fee.
This will be Linda's third Bali retreat. The guests below came on the first two, and most have already asked about 2027.
I came not really knowing what to expect and left with something I can only describe as a reset. Linda holds space in a way that is firm and deeply gentle at the same time. Bali just amplifies everything she creates.
The aerial yoga alone was worth the flight. But what Linda has built around it: the culture, the food, the people she brings together... that's what makes this genuinely different to anything else I've done.
I'd never done aerial yoga before and was nervous about it. Linda is patient and encouraging without being patronising. By day three I was doing things I never thought my body could do. That confidence came home with me.
Eight people is the right number. You actually get to know everyone. By the farewell dinner we were already talking about coming back next year. Linda creates a container that people don't want to leave.
Testimonials are from verified past guests of the 2025 Phuket and 2026 Bali retreats.
Eight spots. Three price tiers based on when you commit. The earlier you reserve, the more you save, and the more likely you are to get your preferred room type.

Linda doesn't just teach yoga, she creates environments where people surprise themselves.
Based on the Gold Coast, Linda has been teaching movement and aerial yoga for several years. She built Balanced Traveller Fitness on a simple belief: that the body and the mind need to travel together, and that sometimes the best way to find stillness is to first let yourself move fully and freely.
The Bali retreat is her most intentional creation — though it originated in Phuket... it is small by design, curated to the smallest detail, and shaped every year by what her past guests tell her mattered most. She is returning to Bali for year three because, as she puts it, the island has a way of doing the work for you... if you let it.
Super early bird pricing is available now. A $500 AUD deposit holds your spot and locks in your rate. Payment details arrive in your inbox within minutes.
